Collaboration: Cisco Spark & Tropo Demo Come learn about our cloud collaboration APIs: Cisco Spark & Tropo! We’ll show you how these platforms can be used to enhance business outcomes, improve productivity, and deepen customer engagements. Using our APIs, you can transform collaboration experience through customizations - integrating 3rd party apps, embedding real-time communications, and extending Spark capabilities.
Our DevNet Journey: Rebuilding the DevNet Platform as a Cloud Application Demo On the DevNet platform, we offer multiple services to developers. Content and API navigation via our developer-friendly portal, tailored learning labs that bring Cisco technologies and knowledge home for the developers, sandboxes that enable developers to interact with Cisco products and services in easy and cost effective ways and communities of interest that bring developers together around their main areas of interests. The great success of the program mandated the need to independently scale up the services to accommodate the growing pool of DevNet developers and to rapidly add more services to keep developers engaged and satisfied.
Come to the demo to learn how we are transforming the DevNet platform into a developer platform through which internal and external developers can build and deploy cloud applications easily and rapidly became another mandate. Meeting such mandates required a rethinking of how we architect and host our platform and services. It was time to leverage mode technologies around cloud, containers and micro services to embark on our journey to transform our platform and services.
Meraki, the Cloud API Platform Demo Designed for service providers, the Meraki Device Provisioning API allows developers to handle tedious tasks quickly and simply. The Provisioning API enables access to the Meraki dashboard configuration via a modern programmable API. No coding experience necessary! Come hear about real-world automation use cases and learn how to build your own automation.
In the demo you will learn how to use the Meraki API like a command-line and quickly integrate with almost any app. We will show you how to do this using free tools like Postman, Zapier, and Node-RED. Meraki Connected Mobile Experience (CMX) is a feature that displays real-time location statistics to help teams understand user behavior, improve customer engagement, and increase loyalty across sites. CMX comes included with any Meraki MR access point license. With CMX, the Meraki Dashboard can help administrators analyze traffic trends, dwell time, and new vs. repeat visitor loyalty. Developers can use the CMX Location API to integrate latitude, longitude and x, y location data from their Cisco Meraki networks with their own custom-built applications. Our developer ecosystem around the CMX API has grown recently to include dozens of partner companies providing all types of value-adding features including enhanced analytics, location based apps, and notifications.

DNA Automation and Assurance Demo Cisco DNA is an open, software-driven architecture built on a set of design principles with the objective of providing; Insights & Actions to drive faster business innovation, Automaton & Assurance to lower costs and complexity while meeting business and user expectations, and Security & Compliance to reduce risk as the organization continues to expand and grow. Open APIs are exposed at each layer of the architecture to enable customers to deliver faster innovation, reduce cost and complexity, and lower risk and meet compliance requirements.
At the DNA Automation demo, learn how you can use REST APIs to apply business policy intent across enterprise campus and wide area networks.
DNA Open Device Programmability Demo Cisco DNA is an open, software-driven architecture with open APIs exposed at each layer of the architecture to enable you to deliver faster innovation, reduce cost and complexity, and lower risk and meet compliance requirements.
At the DNA Open Device Programmability demo, come get first-hand experience seeing how model driven APIs at the network element layer can be used to automate IT operations.
FastDataStacks Demo NFV and virtualized high performance applications, such as video processing, require a “fast data stack” solution that provides both carrier grade forwarding performance, scalability and open extensibility, along with functionality for realizing application policies and controlling a complex network topology.
This demo showcases how different open source components in OpenStack and OpenDaylight are being evolved to integrate with the new open source Virtual Packet Processor (VPP) forwarder provided by the FD.io Linux Foundation project to build such a solution stack. FastDataStacks is run as an OPNFV project that leverages OPNFV’s continuous integration, deployment and test pipeline as well as the automated component install and test infrastructure.
Virtual Internet Routing Lab - Advanced Features and APIs Demo VIRL provides an easy to use, easy to orchestrate network simulation capability that can be used to create target test environments that developers can develop and test network programmability solutions. Come learn about the three different aspects of VIRL; basic architecture and functionality, advanced features and capabilities, and how to use VIRL APIs to integrate into a DevOps environment.
